Are you bored and frustrated that your relationship doesn't have the romance and steamy magic it once had? Being with the same partner for a long time can become "old shoe", and, as a result that fire that electrified your relationship slowly dies leaving the romantic side of the relationship perfunctory and even empty.

Don't think you are alone. Most of us get busy with our lives and just forget to pay attention to that magical part of our lives, our relationship.

Here are some great ways to fan the embers to a burning flame.

1. Send them a special unique gift, nothing expensive, but something that could come only from you. Send it to the work address. Mark it: "For the urgent attention of: "The Name Of You Partner".

2. Act Like Kids Again. Do something that will bring back memories of their childhood. Go outside, play with the dog, roll in the grass, visit a park, swing on the swings.

3. Have A Water Fight. Go outside, get the hose, attach a sprayer and go for it.

4. Give Your Partner A Magic Massage. Get an "I Love You" card", write a message saying, "Good for a great massage by the masseur of your dreams". Buy the oil ahead of time, please!

5. Find out what she has always wanted. Ask his or her family what they have always wanted since childhood. Get it for them, they will be love struck all over again at your thoughtfulness.

6. Drive out to the country. Find a beautiful grassy spot, lie down with your partner and see how many cloud characters you can find.

7. Go to the Beach at sunset. This is romantic without doing anything else. Take your shoes off, sit on the sand, listen to the waves, feel your lover's presence as you did when you were first together.

8. Plan a Picnic on a Cold Winter's Night. Take some firewood, hot chocolate, some sandwiches, some treats, and maybe a sleeping bag if it's really cold. Take in the stars and cuddle up close.

9. Show him or her how Thankful you are for them. Have a single long-stem rose delivered to them, with a note in your handwriting saying, "I'm so glad that you're in my life".

10. Add zest to your Lovemaking. Slow down, gaze into their eyes, add variety, caress their bare skin, try a massage before or after, or give them a little gift before you make love. Visualize the passionate lovemaking and wonderful connection you used to have. These feelings are not gone, they have just been buried under the routine of everyday life.
